Product Portfolio — Stancor Defence
Supplier of pipes, plates and round bars in defence grades — armour and naval-grade steel, HSLA, stainless and duplex, titanium, nickel and aluminium — released against the customer's specification with full heat traceability.
Seamless and welded pipe and tube in stainless, duplex, alloy, titanium and nickel for naval and defence systems.
Pipe for a naval or defence system is bought on the grade, the schedule and the test scope, and rejected on any one of them. We supply seamless and welded pipe and tube from NPS 1/4 to 24 in 316L, duplex 2205, alloy steel, titanium and nickel alloys, cut to length, with hydrostatic or eddy current testing, PMI and a mill test certificate traceable to the heat.

Naval-grade, HSLA and structural plate — DMR 249A, AH36/DH36/EH36 and HSLA-80 — cut to size.
Plate for yard and defence work is decided by the impact test temperature and the certification route more often than by strength. We supply DMR 249A, classification-society AH36, DH36 and EH36 and copper-strengthened HSLA-80 from 5 mm to 100 mm, cut to size or to the customer's nest with distortion control, edge-prepared and marked with the part number and heat.

Alloy, stainless, titanium and nickel round bar — EN24/4340, 15CDV6, Ti-6Al-4V and Inconel 718.
Bar is where defence machining shops lose time if the heat treatment condition is wrong on arrival. We supply round bar from 10 mm to 600 mm in EN24 / 4340, 15CDV6, stainless, titanium 6Al-4V and Inconel 718, stating the delivery condition on the order — annealed for machining, or quenched and tempered, or solution treated and aged — with PMI and mechanical test results on the certificate.

High hardness armour steel at 500 and 550 HBW and armour aluminium 5083 H131 / 7039.
Protection is bought on a specification and proven on a test report, so both are fixed before material is released. We supply armour steel at a nominal 500 and 550 HBW from 3 mm to 25 mm and ballistic aluminium in 5083 H131 and 7039, as plate or cut to nest, with a hardness survey on every plate and — where the specification requires it — ballistic test records in the document pack.
- thickness
- 3 mm to 25 mm steel, 6 mm to 100 mm aluminium

Titanium 6Al-4V and Inconel 718 in plate, bar and pipe, with PMI on every lot.
Where weight, temperature or seawater rules out steel, the alternatives cost enough that traceability matters more, not less. We supply titanium 6Al-4V and Inconel 718 as sheet, plate, bar and pipe with mill certification, PMI verification on every lot against the marking, and the heat treatment condition stated on the order.

Cutting to size or to your nest, marked with part number and heat, kitted by assembly.
A build line stops for one missing blank. We cut plate to size or to the customer's nest, saw bar and pipe to length, mark every piece with the part number and heat, and bundle by assembly so the kit arrives in build sequence rather than as loose stock. For overhaul work we hold agreed call-off stock so material is already certified when the equipment is opened up.
